The herb infused butter for the escargots, for example, elevates this classic appetizer. We debated the duck confit or the roasted Cornish hen. The Cornish hen was fabulous. Too many wine lists in this region inexplicably exclude the many excellent Ontario wines. Carriage House proudly offers several good choices. Excellent food expertly prepared and cheerfully served... you will not be disappointed. ”

“ This is a restaurant perfect for celebrating birthdays or anniversaries. All the staff are very kind, polite, and attentive to your needs at all times. The food is of excellent quality. The octopus was the softest and most unique I’ve ever had. Both the steak and fries were fantastic. For dessert, we had molten lava cake, and the staff even sang a birthday song when serving it, which was a delightful surprise. Overall, we were extremely satisfied and grateful to all the staff for giving us an unforgettable evening for our birthday and anniversary celebration. ”
